In this post, I am going to show you, how you can hack windows system using RAT (Trojan). Before explaining it, you must know what the Trojan is, and what it's function?

What is RAT (Trojan)? - A remote access tool (a RAT) is a piece of software that allows a remote "operator" to control a system as if he has physical access to that system. While desktop sharing and remote administration have many legal uses, "RAT" software is usually associated with criminal or malicious activity. Malicious RAT software is typically installed without the victim’s knowledge, often as payload of a Trojan horse, and will try to hide its operation from the victim and from security software.

What it’s Function? - Its primary function is for one computer operator to gain access to remote PCs. The operator controls the RAT via network connection. Such tools provide an operator the following capabilities:

• We can capture Screen/camera.
• We can do all File management such as: download/upload/execute etc.
• We can control Shell from command prompt.
• We can control Computer’s control such as: power off/on/log off etc.
• We can manage the entire Registry such as: query/add/delete/modify Registry.
• Other software specific functions.

How To Crack Or Reset Windows Machine Password -

1. Reinstall windows machine.
2. Reset Windows machine password.

1. Reinstall windows machine - If you have "Windows Operating System CD" and the content on your machine's windows drive (most of the time it is C: Drive or Partition) are not so important for you then you can think about this option but it takes time.

2. Reset Windows machine password - The meaning of reset is basically set the new password without knowing the old Windows password.

You can reset windows password with great tool "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor". You can download it from their official website "http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/".To reset new password you have to boot machine from floppy or CD or USB. This tool "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" available with floppy or CD/USB image:

• Download "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" USB boot disk.
• Extract all files from usbXXXXXX.zip (which you downloaded) archive to your USB Thumb drive.
• Install bootloader on the USB drive, from command prompt in windows (start the command line with "run as administrator" if possible)
  X:syslinux.exe -ma X:
• Replace X: with the drive letter the USB drive shows up as (DO NOT USE C:).
• If it seems like nothing happened, it is usually done.
• Your USB Thumb drive should now be bootable.
• Restart your machine and boot it from USB Thumb drive by changing setting from BIOS.
• Now follow the given instruction on your screen.

3. Crack Windows Machine password - The meaning of crack is to know the current password of windows.

Cracking Windows machine password can be done by using great tool "ophcrack" and you can download it from their official website "http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php":

• Download "ophcrack Live CD for XP" or "ophcrack Live CD for Vista".
• Write or Burn "ophcrack LiveCD"  image into CD or DVD.
• Restart Machine and boot it from CD by changing BIOS settings.

How To Boot From USB Thumbdrive In Vmware Workstation -

Normally, You cannot boot from USB Thumbdrive in Vmware Workstation because when you restart your VMware machine all the external hd, thumbdrive, automatically disconnect from your machine...

So thats it means you cannot boot from USB thumbdrive in Vmware workstation, answer is nope. You can boot your USB thumbdrive but you need special tool that is "Plop Boot Manager", you can download it from their Official website  http://www.plop.at/en/bootmanager/download.html:

1. Download Plop Boot Manager.
2. Extract Plop Boot Manager iso image file from archive compressed file.
3. Go to the VMware Machine setting, then go for Cd/DVD(IDE) then tick options "Connected" & "Connect at power ON" and browse the Plop Boot Manager iso image under "Use iso image file" option.                                                                                                                                                         
   

   

   
   

4. Then Click OK to save setting and Start your VMware machine.
5. During Startup boot VMware from CD.
   

   

   
   

6. Plop Boot Manager starts and then go for usb by using of arrow of keyboard.
